Event Title:  National Day of Service
Men and Women for Others
Date:   Apr 18, 2009
Time:   8:00AM - 5:00PM ET
Location:   Multiple Locations
Description:   Boston College is a school that prides itself on "service"--service to God, to our communities, and to each other. The BC Alumni Association is proud to once again sponsor our Fourth Annual National Day of Service, a time for alumni, parents and friends to engage in a meaningful service project in your community.

Our goal is to get as many members of the BC family as possible involved in your alumni chapter's chosen project. As a result, the chapter with the highest percentage participation will be recognized as our 2009 Magis Chapter, symbolic of the Ignatian term for "the more" or the "greater good." Your support in this volunteer effort will bring great visibility to BC, while helping your local community.

Encourage your classmates to participate by sending them an electronic post card at http://alumnicards.bc.edu and share any photos taken during the National Day of Service project by e-mailing them to alumnichapters@bc.edu(Team photos recommended!).

Please sign up for your chapter project utilizing the Event Registration modules below. Detailed project information including chapter service point of contact will be posted to the Events section of your chapter website which you can find via the national link at http://www.bc.edu/alumni/association/chapters.html.

Thank you for your service and commitment!
