In the early 1800s, John Randel Jr. surveyed rural Manhattan and laid the grid plan on the island. Come listen to Holloway talk about this unrecognized genius, who was central to New York City’s development. How have his accomplishments reached beyond Manhattan and extended well the 21st century?
