The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA), Columbia College, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, and the Columbia University Alumni Association of Hong Kong (CUAAHK) invite you to join fellow alumni, newly admitted and current students, Alumni club leaders from around Asia and Australia, and University administrators, including James Valentini, Dean of Columbia College and Vice President for Undergraduate Education, in Hong Kong for a special event. 

Guest speaker will be Arthur Lerner-Lam, Deputy Director, Lamont Research Professor

Columbia College Dean James Valentini and Professor Arthur Lerner-Lam, of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, will discuss Columbia University's research, scholarship, and teaching, with a particular focus on the challenges facing humanity on an ever-changing planet. With its top-ranked Liberal Arts College and Graduate School, an unequaled collection of world-class professional schools, affiliate institutions, hospitals, and research institutes, the Columbia is uniquely positioned to train citizens and scholars who will encounter and address these challenges, and advance the understanding that will allow us to meet these challenges.
