Hitting the right balance when talking about ourselves can be a challenge, but if you are
considering a new job or role;
interested in building your brand in your organization;
transitioning to senior leadership;
wondering how to communicate your value to co-workers and prospective clients
You need to tell your story. Please join us for a program for Duke Alumni on The Art of Effective Self-Promotion.
Session objectives are to:
1. Dispel myths and create comfort with self-promotion.
2. Learn tools for developing messaging content and effectively delivering your story and value proposition.
Participants will have the opportunity to consider how well and how comfortably they currently promote themselves, interact with fellow alumni, and learn the building blocks for improving and enhancing their self promotion skills. Staff from the Career Management Center at the Fuqua School of Business, the Duke Law School, the Career Center, and the Duke Alumni Association will also be in attendance to provide feedback and insights.
