Description:   Curious about organizational, financial and operational consulting within the federal community? Interested in the diverse experiences that can lead you there? If you are considering consultant employment opportunities and thought about careers working with federal and public sector entities, then join alumnus Chris Young, GWSB '80, '83 as he talks about his career experiences and how GW played a role in where he is today.

Chris has over twenty five years of wide ranging organizational, financial, and operational consulting experience. He currently focuses on federal and other public sector entities and is one of the leaders in standing up the Deloitte Consulting Strategy &Operations practice in the federal marketplace. His clients and projects include the Department of the Navy’s Financial Improvement Program and standing up the Department of Transportation High Speed Rail Program. Prior to Deloitte’s Federal Practice Chris served clients in Deloitte’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector delivering CFO management, business transformation and merger integration projects.

The How Do I Become A... series brings distinguished alumni to GW to speak on careers to the University community. Participants are exposed to notable alumni, creating unique opportunities for to hear from and interact with graduates. This program is sponsored by the GW Alumni Association, Career Center, and Class Council.
