In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to take all the information you learned about yourself in the Self-Assessment Workshop, and use it to make decisions about how to proceed next. In particular, you will:
• Learn how to take all their assessment results and organize them in a way that they can use to make decisions.
• Hands-on techniques for researching possible job targets, including online resources such as LinkedIn, job-posting sites, and other databases.
• Have an opportunity to brainstorm with the coach and others in the workshop.
• Learn a field tested method for organizing all this information and using it to make decisions.
By the end of the workshop, you will be well on your way to deciding on your next job target and building your “marketing plan” to get what you want!
RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: 1) view webinar “Finding Your Right Career.”
2) Bring self-assessment results with you, either after having taken them via the Montclair career center, or having done on own the exercises presented in the webinar “Finding Your Right Career” or at the Self-Assessment workshop.
