Many of us are so happy to receive an offer for a job we want that we say "yes" way too quickly! A more effective approach involves discussing the offer with them, since once you receive an offer, all the leverage has switched from them to you; they aren’t thinking about your competition anymore! In this webinar, you will learn a strategic approach to negotiating your compensation that will usually enable you to increase your income on the spot. We’ll also discuss techniques for negotiating the job, so you are set up for long term success. Areas we will cover include:

About the Speaker
Robert Hellman is a certified Five O'Clock Club Career Coach, a Vice President at the Club, a professor at New York University, and author of the book Your Social Media Job Search. The Five O’Clock Club is a national outplacement and career counseling network with certified career counselors across the United States. Robert Hellman has helped hundreds of clients in diverse industries and professions to define and reach their job-search and on-the-job goals. In addition to his private coaching practice, Rob’s career-related insights and commentary have appeared in media outlets such as the New York Times, Forbes, the Washington Post, Money Magazine, CNBC.com, ABC News and Fox News.
