Adapted from the De Amicis' classic book Cuore (1886), the film will be the point of departure for Stony Brook University Prof. Jacqueline Reich’s introductory lecture about the Italian cinematic production focusing on the transatlantic voyage of Italian emigrants in the early 20th century.
