Please join us at a concert celebrating the legacy of Murray Present, a founding faculty member of the “former” Music Department, hired by Dr. Edna McEachern in 1948 to teach the first piano majors of the new Music Department.  When he retired in 1992, Professor Present had taught several generations of piano majors.

This concert on Sunday, June 2 at 3:00 pm will take place in the Leshowitz Recital Hall, located in Chapin Hall, our new music facility, which opened in 2009.  Former students and colleagues of Professor Present will be performing a concert of his favorite repertoire.
