About Oberlin Cares – Alumni Day of Service
Founded in 2010, Oberlin Cares – Alumni Day of Service is about helping people, rescuing animals, environmental stewardship and much more. The Oberlin community is rooted in service and that tradition grows every year through the Oberlin Cares program. This spring, alumni and friends will join forces at sites around the world to create another shining example of Oberlin’s proud history of service by giving back to their communities.

About East Park Revitalization Alliance
Established in 2003 by neighborhood residents Haile Johnston and Tatiana Garcia Granados, the East Park Revitalization Alliance (EPRA) is a community-based nonprofit that aims to empower residents to revitalize the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood through the arts, environment and education.

EPRA seeks to build a healthy community in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, focusing on environmental improvement and health promotion. The organization has planted over 700 trees, built community gardens, facilitated numerous murals throughout the neighborhood, and created and maintained over 13 acres of community-friendly open green space in the site of formerly abandoned vacant lots.

Have any of the following unused items? EPRA be happy to put them to good use:
- functional desktop or laptop computers
- working printers, scanners, and photocopiers
- canned goods or other nonperishables for our food pantry (particularly helpful is peanut butter, canned meat or fish, pasta, tomato sauce)
- pots, pans, hot plates, microwaves, toaster ovens, etc. for our kitchen supply drive
- gardening tools (shovels, rakes, trowels, hoes, wheelbarrows, etc.) in good condition
- money to support our operations
