  Amherst, MA - Retirement Celebration for Professor Joyce Berkman

Joyce Avrech Berkman, professor of history and adjunct professor of women, gender and sexuality studies, will retire at the end of the 2012-2013 academic year. Please join us to honor her remarkable 48-year career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

In celebration of Professor Berkman's multifaceted contributions to her field, a day-long series of presentations inspired by her work will be offered, followed by a dinner.

Buffet Dinner: We will have a buffet dinner for $35. For students, we have a subsidized fee of $18.

After Dinner Speakers to include: Julie Hayes, John Bracey, Lorna Peterson, Ann Ferguson, Babette Faehmel, among others. Joyce will also speak. Volunteers welcome.

Parking is available in the Campus Center parking garage.
