All are welcome to hear award-winning environmental journalist and author Peter Thomson '85 share insights and experiences from his notable career in broadcasting in a public presentation. A pioneer in his field, Thomson combines his skillful narrative talents with a strong social conscience to breathe life into his scientific reporting. 

A graduate of the social thought and political economy program (STPEC), Thomson got his start in journalism at WFCR as a freelance reporter. He has gone on to produce the acclaimed Living on Earth and is the founder and editor of the environmental desk at PRI's internationally renowned program The World.

The Alumni Association is proud to  bring Mr. Thomson back to campus through the Eleanor Bateman Alumni Scholar in Residence program. His presentation is free and open to the public. You may sign-up below, but walk-ins are welcome.
