The Whistler Olympics are over? Maybe for the rest of the world, but not for WWU alumni! Invite your friends, rally your family, bring the neighbors and your freshly-waxed skis and boards for what promises to be an EPIC weekend in Whistler, BC!
WWU has put together an incredible package for Friday, February 14 – 17, 2014 that includes:
- Round-trip transportation via deluxe motor coach
- The Woods Coffee, snacks and a Warren Miller ski flick on the ride up
- Friday late-afternoon reception with hearty appetizers, beer and wine
- Sunday dinner reception at a local restaurant/pub to view the (kid-friendly) Fire & Ice show

6 a.m. departure from WWU campus. We’ll arrive in time to hit the slopes or enjoy a relaxing breakfast before touring the village. Free parking!
4 to 6 p.m. welcome reception. We reserved a private banquet room at the Delta Whistler Village Suites for a catered yet casual gathering (hearty appetizers, beer and wine.)
No planned group activities. Unleash your inner Olympian and create your own day of relaxation or EPIC fun!
5 to 6:30 p.m. reception followed by the Fire & Ice Show at the base of Whistler Mountain.
3 p.m. departure via deluxe motor coach arriving back on campus at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Finally! We’ve managed to secure post-Olympic prices for a place to stay in Whistler. Rates are back to normal and our discount is better than ever! Guests of this trip can take advantage of a one-bedroom suite that sleeps four at a discounted group rate of $279 CDN per night (regularly $349 CDN) at the Delta Whistler Village Suites. All suites have full a living room, dining area, gas fireplace, balcony, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Accommodations are on your own and this special rate based on double occupancy is good until January 14, 2014. *Lift Tickets: Purchase on your own either through the hotel when you reserve your accommodations (tickets will be waiting for you at check in), online, or in person when you arrive in the Village. You can also save 20% off your ski rentals by booking online with Summit Sport. Summit carries Head, Volkl, Rossignol and K2 equipment.
